How the Application Works

Local Data Storage

Toolbox 2000 stores preferences and saved items locally using macOS standard storage:

  • Contents: User preferences, saved colour swatches, custom canvas presets

  • Access: Only Toolbox 2000 and you have access to this data

Clipboard Access

When you use copy functions, Toolbox 2000 writes to your system clipboard. This is standard macOS behaviour and the data never leaves your device.

Colour Picker

When using the eyedropper tool, Toolbox 2000 temporarily captures screen pixels to sample colours. No screenshots or images are stored or transmitted.

System Font Access

The Fonts tool reads your installed system fonts to display typeface information. No font data is collected or transmitted.

Third-Party Services

Mac App Store

Toolbox 2000 is distributed through Apple's Mac App Store, which has its own privacy policy and handles:
