Agreement to Terms
By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using Toolbox 2000 ("the Application", "the Software", "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree to these Terms, don't use the Application.

1. Licence Grant
What You Get
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, BugEye Software grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:
Install and use Toolbox 2000 on Mac computers that you own or control
Use the Application for personal and commercial design work
Receive free updates to the Application as they become available
What You Don't Get
This licence does NOT permit you to:
Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Application
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
Use the Application for any illegal purpose
Create derivative works based on the Application
Share your licence with others
2. Purchase and Payment
Pricing
One-time purchase: AU$14.99 (approximately US$10)
Prices may vary by region due to currency conversion and local taxes
All prices include any applicable Australian GST
Mac App Store
Toolbox 2000 is distributed exclusively through Apple's Mac App Store. All purchases are subject to:
Apple's standard refund policy (30 days)
Apple's Mac App Store terms and conditions
Apple's payment processing
We do not handle payments directly. All billing inquiries should be directed to Apple.
Refunds
Refund requests must be made through the Mac App Store within 30 days of purchase. We have no control over Apple's refund process.

50MB available storage
Internet connection for initial download and licence verification

While we strive for optimal performance, actual performance may vary based on:

4. Updates and Support
Software Updates
Updates are provided free of charge to licensed users
Updates may include bug fixes, new features, or performance improvements
We reserve the right to discontinue updates at any time
Automatic updates are managed through the Mac App Store

We don't provide support for modified or outdated macOS versions
We don't provide design consultation or training
Response times are not guaranteed but we aim for 48-72 hours
5. Acceptable Use
You May Use Toolbox 2000 For:
Personal design projects
Commercial design work
Client projects
Educational purposes
Professional design services
You May Not Use Toolbox 2000 For:
Any illegal activities
Creating content that violates intellectual property rights
Circumventing technical protection measures
Interfering with others' use of the Application
Any purpose that violates local, state, or international law
6. Intellectual Property
Ownership
Toolbox 2000, including all code, design, graphics, documentation, and trademarks, is owned by Albino Zebra Creative Services / BugEye Software.
Protected elements:
Source code and compiled binaries
User interface design
Logo and branding ("BugEye Software", "Toolbox 2000")
Documentation and help files
Marketing materials
Your Content
We don't claim any rights to your creative work.
Anything you create using Toolbox 2000 (colour palettes, layouts, designs) belongs to you. We have no claim to your intellectual property.
Trademarks
"Toolbox 2000", "BugEye Software", and "Always On Top®" (yes, even the joke one) are trademarks of Albino Zebra Creative Services.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations
Warranty Disclaimer
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
Warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Accuracy or reliability
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
BugEye Software shall not be liable for any:
Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Lost profits or lost data
Business interruption
Cost of substitute software
Maximum liability: The total amount you paid for the Application (AU$14.99).
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees, rights, or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable laws that cannot be excluded.
8. Data and Privacy
Local Storage Only
Toolbox 2000 stores all user data locally on your Mac:
Saved colour palettes
Custom presets
Application preferences
We do not:
Collect your personal information
Track your usage
Transmit data to external servers
Store anything in the cloud

Data Loss
You are responsible for backing up your Mac. We are not liable for any data loss, including saved palettes or custom presets.
Use Time Machine or another backup solution to protect your data.
9. Termination
Your Rights
You may stop using Toolbox 2000 at any time by:
Deleting the Application from your Mac
Requesting a refund through the Mac App Store (within 30 days)
Our Rights
We may terminate or suspend your licence if you:
Violate these Terms
Use the Application illegally
Attempt to reverse engineer the software
Engage in abuse or harassment of support staff
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
Your licence to use Toolbox 2000 ends immediately
You must delete all copies of the Application
Surviving provisions (warranties, limitations of liability) remain in effect
10. Changes to Terms
Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective:
When posted to bugeyesoftware.com
With a new "Last Updated" date
When you use the Application after changes are posted
Notice
For material changes, we will:
Update the version number in the App
Notify users through the Mac App Store update notes
Display a notice on our website
Your Options
If you don't agree to updated Terms:
Stop using the Application
Request a refund (if eligible through Mac App Store)
11. Geographic Restrictions
Availability
Toolbox 2000 is available worldwide through the Mac App Store, subject to:
Apple's regional availability
Local laws and regulations
Export control laws
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Disputes
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
For international users: This doesn't remove your rights under local consumer protection laws.
12. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Apple's Mac App Store terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and BugEye Software.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right doesn't waive that right.
Assignment
You may not transfer your licence. We may assign our rights and obligations to another entity.
Force Majeure
We're not liable for failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, wars, pandemics, etc.).
Third-Party Components
Toolbox 2000 may include open-source components subject to their own licences. See the Application's "About" section for details.

By using Toolbox 2000, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service are effective as of November 27, 2025 and apply to version 1.0 and subsequent versions of Toolbox 2000.
